Meet Nicole

I’m a successful business consultant, coach, and dynamic speaker, who built a multi-million marketing and venture-building consultancy. Over my 20-year career, I’ve been a television reporter, entrepreneur, and senior executive. For 15 of those years, my consulting firm partnered with universities to build programs that help students improve their careers. And I worked closely with executives to develop strategic solutions to reduce costs, increase revenue, and launch new product offerings.

Our team had a purpose-forward culture, focused on professional development and inclusion. In 2018, our firm was acquired and I spent three years as an executive running the business development team and managing key clients for the $7 million division. I also helped navigate through a subsequent acquisition that more than doubled the division in size and staff.

After years of volunteer activism, I left my executive role in 2021 to run for Georgia Labor Commissioner. Over 18 months, I built a state-wide campaign from the ground up and spoke to audiences across Georgia about important issues. I now sit on the board of Georgia Equality, Black Push, and Public Education Matters Georgia. I also serve as director of the WIN Leadership Academy.

Running for office electrified my passion to help individuals grow. I founded ThirdEdge Performance Solutions to offer coaching, consulting, and speaking engagements to audiences across the country. As a certified Positive Psychology coach, I am committed to using my experience in team building, strategic planning, coalition building, and innovation to help others make a greater impact.
